Founded in Legacy
How It Started
Kidy Foundation was established in honor of Kidest Kifle Woldemariam, whose life and legacy inspire us to create safer roads and resilient communities. Since our inception, we’ve championed road safety education, immediate assistance for collision victims, and sustainable solutions that reshape the future of mobility in Ethiopia.

Mission
Kidy foundation Canada is established to mobilize the Ethiopian community in North America and Ethiopian and raise awareness, education, and social responsibility so as to reduce the epidemic of vehicle collision deaths, loss of limbs and permanent disability. It is Kidy foundation’s objective to engage the Ethiopian government and other stakeholders so that appropriate regulations and enacted and enforced. Kidy foundation will also provide necessary financial and material resources to support individuals, families and communities impacted by vehicle collision.
Vision
An Ethiopia where drivers, passengers, and pedestrians experience significantly reduced vehicle collisions, benefiting from advanced safety measures and technologies. In cases of accidents, they receive prompt and accessible basic health care, rehabilitation support, and awareness programs to ensure their physical and mental well-being, fostering a safer and more resilient community.
